Do you remember "Gypsy"? I thought they
were an exceptional band. Quite
unusual was that they came out with a double record album as
there debut -
just like "Chicago". That first album with "Dead
and Gone" I thought was and
still is great.

One day as I was listening to WNEW (Pete
Fornatel) I heard him slip out
that Santana was coming to the Fillmore. He didn't say it as
an announcement
but sorta between the lines. Well I jumped on it and sent in
my request for
tickets and money. Well the people at the Fillmore must
have thought I was
some big wig or something since the public didn't know about
the concert.
I ended up getting third row seats. |
